Service execution

The MQPerf service operates according to the following procedure:

download a software, called the Probe;
execute the Probe locally, resulting in a data file called the Analysis;
upload the Analysis onto the MQPerf web server;
get the report.

Both versions of the service use the same Probe. However the execution of the Probe differs for the two versions, controlled by an option set at launch time.

You may execute the Probe several times on different hosts. You may then head directly to step 3- upload. Beware however that a service update may require you to download the latest version of the Probe.
